On the Sony reader, once you sync it with your computer, it shows up much like a thumb drive.  You just drag and drop the pdf files on there and they show up on the reader.  The reader manual shows how to do it as well.  You have to be creative in your naming convention and "title" fields, because they show up differently, but you can bookmark them so that they are the first thing that shows up (especially for EP checklists).  Works well.  Just save your pdf file as the right size.  Here is an old base checklist as a reference.
