Sounds like you need some engine mounts.  I replaced mine with the Lord mounts (Scott had recommended them, I think they were the soft mounts).  I have a Glasair but we all have the same woes for the most part.  And they're not 500 bucks...maybe with labor but I agree with the other post.  I think I paid around 200 or so for mine, although this has been a few years prior.
