depending on  whether I wish to go fast or not. I don't see any reason
to run the engine outside the Manufacturer  representation for best
power or best economy and in agreement with GAMI  recommendations.

I run my TSIO550 full rich on climb and then lean back to get the TIT
less than 1600F ( 870C).  That is often 150F (85C) degrees LoP EGT.
