So far my Andair Air/Oil Separator has collected almost no moisture or oil. My 550 has about 40 hours since top (pistons, rings and hone). Previously, you may recall I was blowing so much oil out the breather that no measurement was necessary, but that is another story. My Lycoming O-360 in the RV-6 with 1300 hours uses a quart of oil in 15 hours and will catch about 1.5 oz of 75% oil and 25% water in 25 hours. Winter flying will add maybe a half oz of water for 2 oz total. Steve Colwell Legacy and a very nice RV-6 for sale https://www.barnstormers.com/cat.php?mode=search Hi Steve, I do have a cooler door and was able to get oil temp over 200 on the last flight, at 12,500. The other day I was running at 32" at 4,500 for 45 minutes and couldn't get it that high even with the cooler door closed. Question for you: how much water do you see in the catch tank and how does that compare with the amount of oil you get? b.t.w. how big is your catch tank?
