Since this problem seems to be relatively frequent with the IO/TSIO-550 engines, I guess I should plan for a future problem. I would ask the assembled highly knowledgeable participants for their experience and whiz-dumb: 1) who do you recommend for rebuilding Continental starter drive adapters, 2) how long did it take, and 3) what did it cost?
