Mine is at 43.8gph. Adding fuel moves
theta-peak-pressure further beyond top dead center and lowers peak pressure
which reduces the stress on the engine.
With exhaust tunnel extensions I can climb at
38"/2700rpm @380dF CHT's @ 140 knots.
Dropping back to 32"/2500rpm CHT's are in the
350's. Wish I had Fred's cowl flaps.
38gph is too low.
