LNC2 fliers and well established builders,
The 1990 320 FB builder's manual is a little coy about what to do on the cabin side of the heater valve to spread warm air around. I'm thinking that the highest priority is warm air to demist the inside of the canopy, and was planning to feed the 1 1/2 inch SCAT tube into a fan-like vent in the glare shield or attached to the aft side of the header tank. Is there anyone out there with a nifty design that that they're prepared to share, or alternatively some words of wisdom on the more general question of cabin heat? I live in Houston TX, but one day the aircraft will return to England, so the aim is a system that handles temperate to hot and humid.
On the general question, are there any ideas about making the original Lancair valve more fireproof if the unthinkable happens?
