Hi Gary,

I saw Frank today.
He built new cowls for his plane last year.
He had the old style intake and replaced it with the new style.
He said to me that he felt there was not much difference in performance.
I have most of his molds at the moment.
It would be a fair bit of work to change it.

The 2 4PT's here in perth are getting between 290 to 315 TAS at 25K burning at 660 C
so they say.

His email address is

Cell phone  61 419930597

We are in Perth Western Australia
So check the time before calling him.

Let me know if you need anything further,
thanks for your advice re the yaw damper.

Regards

Mike Aarons

Mike,

It would be nicer up front where you could reach it in flight for adjustment. Mine is in the back and was difficult to adjust unless there were two people. Best bet would be to call Trutrack.

By the way, Maurits Van Rooy said I need to contact you in order to get ahold of Frank Fry. Apparently I have an old style inlet and Frank made a splitter that would better move air from the inlet to the plenum. Can you point me in the right direction?
