After fooling with a partially inflated door seal problem for much longer than I'm would admit, I finally bit the bullet and yanked the entire seal and sure-nuff, there was a couple of very tiny cracks in the base of the supply tube which was hidden inside the door frame, that my soap-bubble solution couldnt find. Evidently there was a small amount of tube movement each time the seal inflated, that caused the tube to fray against the C/F as it passed thru the door frame even tho the seal itself was mounted securely by silicone.
My fix, hopefully, is to use a short length of varnish impregnated
glass tubing over the supply tube for protection as the tube passes thru the door frame. I originally thought of using a grommet to eliminate the problem, but the head of the grommet would offset the seal and create a different problem.
If anyone has eliminated this problem with a different solution, I sure would appreciate hearing about it.
