Very humbly i give my opinion hoping not to appear judgemental or pretending to know it all. I have transitioned to my Legacy frombonanzas, malibu and most valuably a christen eagle II and a pitts S1T. I have over 1000 hours in tail wheel biwing ie decathalon, supercub, stearman, husky, pitts S2B, S1T,eagle. Most valuable to me was Pitts Aerobatic time. After thorough spin training by the likes of Art Schol and Bob Herendeen Mike church and other greats of our time, In time you can literally feel your proximaty to the point of stall in all configurations. the legacy is no different BUT this plane can deceive you because it flys so benignly and so damn predictably most of the time that its easy to let it get it to slow or letting the ball get out of center. I've caught myself tr;ying to wiggle it back onto centerline using the rudder and were it not for my flashbacks of going into an inverted flat spin I could easily have been one of those statistics. I would suggest some acro time for any nervous newbies and get used to not only a much faster landing and approach speed but the importance of coordinated flight. regards, don karich N42DK
