The past two years I filed IFR into KOSH.  Both years I got the time slot I wanted and was vectored in expidiciously.  Last year I held over Michigan for 10 minutes and then was cleared for a straight-in visual to 27.  On short final with clearance to land two Colts, ignoring shouts from the tower, dove in front of me forcing a go-around.  This year there was no hold but the VTF for RW09 was out over Ripon and Fisk.  (I was half-expecting a circling hold around Rush Lake). Traffic was light and we landed straight in.  On IFR you still need 4+ eyes watching for traffic because IFR separation means nothing within 50 miles of KOSH.
