I did a search on the lml on "pohl" and found
a lot of interesting stuff that many of you know all too well.
As far as I can tell he was the investor in
engineAir.
He eventually signed off in 2003 out of frustration
that there is more negativity and less fact finding/problem solving happening on
this list.
Agree or disagree with him, he was all for people
learning as much as possible from every accident.
It would be ironic if we simply write this one off
as - "bad choice of engine".
If anyone has more specific information on the
accident aircraft or pilot, I would be interested in knowing on or off
list.
