I cannot provide any performance criteria comparing speed etc for electronic ignition alone but I can affirm that my engine started immediately on the first compression stroke. Starts were amazingly strong. The reason I cannot provide the performance data was because I also flowed the heads, modified the cam, installed 10.5 to 1 pistons as well as dual electronic ignition and another different 3 blade scimitar blade to the IO360 Lycoming. The overall performance was increased about 6 knots at cruise and performance improved from 1800 fpm climb at sea level to 2,700 fpm. That was really impressive. Basic empty weight of this straight 360 is 1,210 lbs. I weigh 130 lbs.

Subject: [LML] Mags V Electronic ignition -LNC2
Can anyone provide a rough idea of the performance improvement (TAS and MPG or fuel flow) expected on the 0-320 after converting from 2 mags to one mag + electronic ignition?
With the price of fuel heading North I am wondering if its worth the investment
