I, for one am totally impressed with Lancair and it's
staff. I bought kit #178 in January, and I am the third owner. The
original Kit was sold in 2001, and had a lot of the old stuff in it that I have
had to upgrade to the newer configurations. Lancair, all the way from the
receptionists, (Carla and Deb), to Tech Support (Justin), to parts (Michele, and
Linda), and engineering (Ben and his Crew), and lately, the Avionics guys
(Mike), have gone way past the call of duty to help me get this thing
airborne. I can't say enough about them, especially, since I am using a
non-standard engine, and making some serious changes of my own to the Kit.
(That's why they call it "Experimental"!!) There advice has been right on,
and quality, parts, usually the next day. Should I decide to sell this
Project after completion, (and a lot of flying time), I would build another one,
no question. And believe it or not, they aren't paying me to say this
stuff.....(:-)

Subject: [LML] Any Lancair 320 (AND)
Legacy builder's?
I am also interested in honest opinions about Lancair's company support,
advice, lead-times, etc from the new Lancair. Mostly when I built my
320, I dealt with Lance, Linda, Don Goetz, and Vern. I know a lot has
changed since then and consider the company support to be a vital element if I
am planning on buying a new kit.
