(big snip...) Can anyone tell me where I can buy this unit, and does anyone know if the unit Ed described is the same as the one shown in Clark's picture? <<< The flapper valve in the picture is available from AIRFLOW PERFORMANCE SYSTEMS 864-576-4512. Be warned that it is designed for the AFP fuel injection, and is 3 1/2" in diameter. I actuate it with a MAC servo (I know). Unlike Wrong-Way Rick's Argente's (just kidding) system, mine adds approximately 1"MP at 8k feet. Additionally, this is 1" on top of what I believe is a quite low restriction filtered system (with 3 1/2 SCAT tubing and a high flow K&N filter). Over approximately 150 hours, it has worked very well. Also, bear in mind that I had to add some additional area to the front of my cowl to clear this large (but efficient) flapper. I will be pulling a new cowl this weekend and will try to post the pictures soon.
