I have my hydro-pack located on my 235's seat-back, along
with the battery. In order not to have long runs of large conductors, I have the
55A CB located so it is just behind the top edge of the seat-back, which makes
the whole installation very compact but accessible. You'll really appreciate
having the battery where you can get at it without leaning over the sharp edge
of the baggage rear bulkhead. My FSDO inspector had no problem with this. One
thing that helps is if you put an LED with a resistor in series across the CB,
1.2K on a 14V system, and 2.4k with a 28V system. When the CB is open, the LED
will light up if it has a load. This means that if the CB is open on something
with an intermittent load, such as flaps or LG, as you operate it the LED will
light up. I have mine LEDs mounted immediately above their associated CBs.
You can also get a flashing LED that will operate directly from
14V.
