Thats what we did, gascolator has a metal shroud around it and there is a
cold air hose coming from the "upper deck".
We also ran a drain off the bottom of the gascolator that can be drained
externally - I do it before every flight. Despite having emptied and cleaned
the gascolator twice, I still get small bits of "stuff" (probably a mix of
fiberglass, flox and micro) from it when I drain it. Plane has over 50 hours
on it.
