Actually.... I found out when I went to Oshkosh last year that my plane once was a Reno racer. It belonged to a guy that now races a Legacy. Sorry I don't remember his name but he came by and we talked for a while. I think he's the president of the class he fly's in, or something like that. If he reads this he'll know who he is.
If you're getting a consistent true 225 knots from a parallel valve LNC-2 you're doing something I haven't seen yet. When the conditions are right I've seen incredible numbers but those are not true and consistent.
Some of the guys were talking about taking the Reno class for the fun of it but they don't race LNC-2's anymore.

PS: I found 200 kts rather easy to blow by. I think the lnc-2 wall is around 225 kts.
