I found out when I went to Oshkosh last year that my plane once was a Reno racer. It belonged to a guy that now races a Legacy. Sorry I don't remember his name but he came by and we talked for a while. I think he's the president of the class he fly's in, or something like that. If he reads this he'll know who he is. If you're getting a consistent true 225 knots from a parallel valve LNC-2 you're doing something I haven't seen yet. When the conditions are right I've seen incredible numbers but those are not true and consistent. Some of the guys were talking about taking the Reno class for the fun of it but they don't race LNC-2's anymore. Well, if you're ever on my side of the airspace (southern CA) drop me an email and I'll bring out the group. http://www.insidesocal.com/video/videos/flying_with_the_breakfast_club.html Randy Stuart LNC-2 ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Thursday, February 14, 2008 7:56 AM Subject: [LML] Cold Induction Treatment of Friends Blowing by your friends when you push in the throttle.... Priceless. Randy, Your photos show a very impressive installation. Perhaps you would be interested in joining us for any of the Sport Air Racing League races. We’d love the competition. PS: I found 200 kts rather easy to blow by. I think the lnc-2 wall is around 225 kts.
