FWIW I've had good experience with Concorde RG's.

I installed a 28V RG-24-11M in one plane (Experimental) 3/18/02. It started getting a bit weak so I replaced it 10/15/06. TCM IO-360 engine.

On the other plane (Standard) I installed a 14V RG-35A 5/1/03 and replaced it 10/13/06. Again, it wasn't worn out but the ICA requires replacement after 3 years. IO-550B engine. Now using dual RG-35AXC's.

I've never had to trickle charge or boost and both planes have always started well even after sitting idle for a month or more, including winter starts.   -Bill Wade

If anyone else has a great battery, history story, please jump into the thread.
