Erik:

**Just wondering if anyone as any experience....Pro/Con with the GAMI
injector system. I am running a Performance IO-550 in a Legacy.**

Well, I had GAMIjector set #3 about ten years ago. They went to TBO
and were sold with the airplane.

**Have noticed that the #6 cylinder is consistently running about 100
degrees hotter (leaner) EGT. If not the GAMI injectors, is there any
other way to bring the EGT's more in line, thus allowing more
effective leaning possibilities? **

The hotter EGT does NOT mean that that cylinder is leaner. Even RAW
EGT temps re meaningless. What you are looking for is for all of the
cylinders to peak at the same FF, not at the same raw temperature.
Do a GAMI Lean Test, downloadable at <http://www.advancedpilot.com/
assist.html>.

**Also, do the GAMI injectors tend to hold their setting or is it a
constant process to keep them in line?**

They do not change unless they become clogged like any injector
would. The last three sets I've had on engines did not change at all
during the entire run.

Walter
