Any
insights/causes/lessons on the conditions leading to the nose gear collapse?
One thing I found on my plane was the nose gear
hydraulic cylinder assembly was to long and prevented the over-center link from
going to its stop. I choose to reduce the length of the rod
end fitting which before modification was bottoming out in the hydraulic
cylinder. This condition was never given a chance to be a problem,
but...
