The nose gear, driven out by a fully charged gas spring, is of the
first priority for shoving fluid back on the "up" side. This is why people
frequently see scratches on the nose door - not from the wheel going up crooked,
but the nose gear knocking the door out of the way (momentarily not enough fluid
to extend it) whilst it is pushed out.
