Thought I'd let you know that I have two LED landing lights (in your MR-16 fixtures). I test flew tonight -- really dark! They could be brighter, but work okay. I landed and taxied on a grass field and could always see where I was going. I think they produce less light than the 100 watt bulbs, but they don't heat at all. They worked well enough that I wouldn't consider going back to the hot bulbs.
