Randy,
I bent both of my forks by 2° to 3°. At the time, I was able to get new ones from Lancair. I saved both of the old ones so that, if necessary, I could have them bent back.
There are no welds in these forks. Only your paint is cracking. They could be bent back.

Hey all, . . Anyway, I need a part to replace the one in the pictures and was wondering if anyone had one lying around. I will be glad to purchase it from you.
I have completed a very thorough inspection and have found no other visible damage. The Ong's Debongers sure took a shot and seem to have held up. If anyone has any comments about what else to look for or be aware of, I am open to the dialog.
Generally, when you land that hard the horizontal bar at the top of the triangular piece which contains the pivot where your fork attaches. Also the long AN bolt that holds the fork to the debonger. . . Hopefully a little wiser for the wear. Randy Hartman, N360DE
