Lancair has a service bulletin out on this. SB054-0600 Here's the link: http://www.lancair.com/Main/service_bulletins/SB054.pdf I would also check the entire gear, every weld, and every place the gear attaches to the front and rear spar and the phenolic attach points, basically everything - for the slightest little crack that might show. I have completed a very thorough inspection and have found no other visible damage. The Ong's Debongers sure took a shot and seem to have held up. If anyone has any comments about what else to look for or be aware of, I am open to the dialog. A couple of the pictures clearly show the stress the part took by the cracks in the paint. This massive casting bent about 3/16 of an inch. Hopefully a little wiser for the wear.
