Hey all, Yeah, it's a little embarrassing but.I made a Piper Cherokee 140 type landing today.but I wasn't in my 140, I was in my Lancair 360. I learned - after 95 hours of flying the L360 - what a landing is like when I pull the power off 3 feet above the deck instead of carrying power all the way down. It was definitely a mental lapse on my part. Anyway, I need a part to replace the one in the pictures and was wondering if anyone had one lying around. I will be glad to purchase it from you. I have completed a very thorough inspection and have found no other visible damage. The Ong's Debongers sure took a shot and seem to have held up. If anyone has any comments about what else to look for or be aware of, I am open to the dialog. A couple of the pictures clearly show the stress the part took by the cracks in the paint. This massive casting bent about 3/16 of an inch. Hopefully a little wiser for the wear. Randy Hartman N360DE
