Greetings,

I used vernier throttle control cables on both of my Thorp T18s and loved it.  I am installing an ACS vernier throttle on my Legacy.  The vernier gives excellent control allowing for precise adjustments to power, and the throttle stays where you set it, with no need for rotating a friction lock every time you want to increase/decrease power.  For landings, my hand is always on the throttle, with thumb on center button lock, so power adjustments and going around are easy.  Both Thorps are still flying with excellent service from the vernier throttle for more than thirty years and twenty years respectively.   I have never experienced a single negative issue with them.   Additionally, they are much more convenient.

ACS will make your vernier control cable to the exact length you specify.
