Regardless, I have had very good results with a WX500 in my E-Glass 360. I mounted the antenna in the very rear of the tail cone, beneath a ~10" x 12" ground plane (that curved around the sides somewhat). The antenna was between the ground plane and the skin. The processor was mounted behind th= e rear bulkhead. I get very little random noise and the display is surprisingly accurate, agreeing relatively well with my XM weather. The WX500 is more sensitive and realtime, with the XM obviously the better long range information.
