Garry:
For what it's worth, my flap switch is momentary-off-momentary. Because I do not use the flaps (with very rare exceptions) anytime other than take off and landing, and because flap operating speed is far below cruise, I chose not to have a switch on the stick where inadvertent operation might occur. My flap switch is just above and to the left of my throttle knob, on the lower right corner of the left panel, where it is handy to my right hand during take off and landing.

Subject: [LML] Flap Switch
Flap Switch
I am building L-360 and currently working on a panel and flap system. Could you please let me know the most suitable switch for flap operation. I will place my switch on the bottom right of off avionics' stack. I am not sure if I should use "on-off-momentary" or "momentary-off-momentary" flap switch. Also I am considering putting this switch on the side of Infinity stick, perhaps. Thank you in advance for your comments.
