You should start looking in the the most likely place, the installation. Yea, I know, the manufacturer always blames the installation and my airplane CAN'T be at fault, but . . . the installation is overwhelmingly the most common source of problems . . . =20 =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D= =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D =20 Brent, =20 The installation could indeed be the problem, but Chelton in Boise decided to make my sleuthing easier by eliminating equipment failure from the start - they are sending me a new GADAHRS and magnetic PU. I have one of the few Pinpoints that D2 placed before going submerged and Chelton just wants to be sure there are no proto-gremlins in the system. I did not ask them to send the replacements; they offered after I described the failure and the original installation. I should get the swap done while the plane is in the paint shop, and the next time you see it will be on display at Oshkosh. =20 Robert M. Simon ES-P N301ES
