Nav radio di-plexers are just antenna splitters since nav radios only receive.
Com radios connected to the same antenna must have a "transmit" activated
switch (relay) to shut off the antenna feed to the non-transmitting radio so
the 5 or 10 watts of power sent by the transmitter doesn't blow up the other
receiver. This type of di-plexer is expensive, but not as expensive as the
repair work to a burnt up radio.
