It sounds like the vast majority of Nylaflow failures are down by the wheels.  In my ES, I have Nylaflow just to connect the pedals.  I've also heard that Nylaflow is susceptible to UV damage, not an issue where my tubing is either.  Is the tubing connecting the pedals a common point of failure or not?
