I had the same vertical instability.
I played with the system for 3 or 4 weeks
about 4 or 5 months ago. After talking to Direct 2 there were
tests to be done on the Crossbow to check response and stability. After
Chelton software upgrade and Trutrak upgrade, I had some success, but got
distracted on another project before coming to a final conclusion on GPSV.
We are supposed to be having an ice storm here
tomorrow but the next time I get to the airport I will look up all my notes and
tests. It will probably be best if I give you a call to discuss it since
there was a lot of time spent on it. (Too much to type)
Maybe I can do a summary for the lml.
Or maybe just wait for Garmin 430/530 WAAS
upgrade.
