The same question I asked Joe Bartels at Lancair where I have bougth the VM1000, EC100 and the Fuel Level System. From his staff member Lisa Williams I received the following information. Has anybody got any comment to it?? It's a matter of fact that I now have an EC100 (Elektronic Checklist) as well as a Fuel Level System which are both UNWORKABLE. I'm really anxious to know if I'll get back the 825.-- $ which I have paid for that junk. And I also wonder what will happen when I need a new sensor for the VM1000 one day ............ Ronald Heidegger ============================================================================ Mr. Heidegger Below is the information from Vision: Ok according to Ottis at Vision Microsystems, They no longer have a person that can burn the chips for the fuel level calibration instrument, nor will they in the distant future, so his solution is to pull out the instrument and toss it and buy the Electronics International instrument FL-2CA and that is a dual fuel level instrument, cost is $469.00 which can be programmed with liters on it, unfortunately Vision is not offering any compensation for the part that they can't program. Let me know if you have any questions regarding the above, and if I can help you with ordering the instrument from Electronics International. Lisa Lisa M. Williams Purchasing Kit Components Inc.
