The reason behind my orig post on spinning was that it seemed to me that there was some mystic and a lot of conjecture about spinning Lancairs. That they were "bad news" and could have been the cause of some of the fatalities; and they certainly could have been. BUT, following a rote or learned routine, my post, hoped to dispel those fears. Yes, Lancairs are a handful, but spin recovery IS possible with tried and true methods. Yep, I realized that the holy would verbally slap my paws and I take full credit for getting into it in the first place, but builders and flyers need to know that this aircraft is recoverable from unatural attitudes if the pilot does it right...
