All,

I'm installing the front strut on an ES.  The strut is largely held on by
two aluminum bearing blocks that are bolted to the steel engine mount (I
believe the same/similar arrangement with a IV and Legacy).

Has anyone had any experience with galvanic corrosion between those.
Especially on the retracts - as it would seem to be an area that is not
immune from moisture (although they are bolted tightly together).

Does the paint on the mount and/or anodizing on the bearing block inhibit
the formation of corrosion?

Has anyone thought about perhaps an extra coat of paint there or a thin
"smear" of RTV silicone before bolting them tightly together?

I'm just trying to think ahead as I put this all together.
