That's what the O2 mask is for.
Doesn't do you a lot of good to have a feathering prop if you give away all you
altitude in an engine out situation. Does "best glide" ring a bell? This is what
Shannon Knoepflin did, came screaming out of altitude only to come up a
mile short of the runway. I see this a lot on private pilot checkrides.
