I also have Voyager from Seattle Avionics.   In short, I find it works as
 advertised.

However, it is slow, even on a fast P4 machine running nothing else.  Also,
there is a glitch in how it zooms (been there since version 1).  If you ask
for a specific zoom/range (i.e. 75 miles), you sometimes get something else
(i.e. 82 miles).  I was told by their customer support that this is
inevitable because of how they do the zooming (and is more pronounced at
larger range settings).  It becomes an issue when you understand that
certain features (terrain, airports, etc) are hidden/repainted at certain
zoom/range settings.  So, if you pick 50 miles expecting to see certain
things (set to display at 50 miles) and the computer actually displays 52
miles, then you don't see what you want/expect unless you change the zoom to
something else (i.e. 35 miles).  This is a "real pain" when flying!

Try Seattle AVionics (Voyager). You can download a demo version. I picked
 up
their demo CD ROM at Sun N Fun. It has a moderate learning curve, but tends
 to
be slower thatn one expects it to be. Still a few bug, but not serious. I'm
using it on a Motion 1400. I also have WX WORX on Wings. I have the receiver
mounted on the hatshelf and the antenna mounted in the air duct. On a test
flight, it worked well - except on the 30th of Oct, there was hardly a rain
drop in the whole US - certainly not in the mid Atlantic states. Both
satellites were being received with stron signals on at least one.
