Yes, I thought the author of the AVweb
article was a little over the top as well, although most of the rude
and stupid pilot tricks described does make me sad. I listened
to the audio of the pilot who didn't have the NOTAM. Not only did
this guy not have the NOTAM, from the questions he asked (ATC was very
patient with him) I'd say he hadn't even read the NOTAM.
Pitiful.
