I purchased my exhast form lancair early last year (before Vern left) and as I found out there is more than one fwd facing sump.

Do you have a stock sump that has been changed to fwd facing the exhast will fit but I you have a sump that was built as a fwd facing such as an aftermarket it has to have apx 1" added to the tubes before they cross over.

 

If you bought the sump from Lancair then it would be the aftermarket and exhast mods would have to be done.  The name of the company that builds them is snowline and I think they are in Bend OR.
