I now have the Superior XP-400 on the = airplane. We're supposed to run a MT racing prop... My experience with = MT so far has been poor. As the pilot of the airplane and the one's = whose butt is in the seat, I found their rep's attitude and demeanor = poor at best. Then I come to find out that their prop begain to = delaminate at high rpm - where we are going to run. On the other hand, Hartzell came to me and wanted to sponsor me. They = gave me a new prop and always treated me with respect and courtesy. I = trust in and believe their product and their attitude towards safety. A few final thoughts: apples to apples, and MT prop has never gone = faster than a Hartzell at Reno. I also got answers and data from = Hartzell when I asked, while the MT rep refused to give me any data on = their race prop they were building for me. Having said that, I think it = would be fair to say that there are some / a lot of people that have had = very good experiences with MT and like their propeller choice.
