I’m going to host a combination Lancair Fly-In and EAA Chapter meeting at
my hangar on Saturday, October 14th.  This gathering will be similar to
the ones I have hosted in the past where we can discuss various aspects of
building, flying and owning a Lancair.  The Northern Yosemite Chapter of
the EAA will co-host the event.  Don Barnes has offered to help prepare
the lunch.  Hopefully, the video of Scott Alair’s race team’s experience
at the 2006 Reno National Championship Air Races will be shown (if it is
edited in time).

The gathering will be held at Pine Mountain Lake Airport (E45) which is
located in the western foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains.  I’ll
post more information on this event after I get back from the Air Races.
