Bill,

I used the Holux GR-231 until it died after about a year.  It was not terribly reliable in completing the auto connection over Bluetooth.

I replaced it with a Delorme Bluelogger, see the picture attached.  This guy is $149.95.  Think that is cheaper than the Holux and is a major commercial product with lots of USA support.  This one was a total no-brainer install.  If I remember right, I just turned it on and entered the connection key value (0000) and off it went.  This was probably because I already had Bluetooth S/W installed and running to support the WxWorx and the earlier GPS.

Bluetooth connection is much better now.

I understand WXWORX will no longer add the Bluetooth feature to the HOLUX GM-210 GPS receiver..

Has anyone used one of the newer Holux receivers (such as the GR-231) with the WXWORX package? If so, I would appreciate your comments.

Thanks, Bill Hogarty (L-IVP anyday now)
