'Fraid not.  Our canapes, oops - canopies (durn french), are made out of xxxxxxxx and they will not shatter like safety glass in autos.
 
Scoring it with a Cutco serrated Bowie knife may assist in kicking the @#%#@*&*^@ out, but a panel mounted rechargeable Dremel  equipped with a cutoff wheel or 12/28 VDC "bone" saw may be your best bet.  Otherwise, keep the greasy side down.
