 Subject: Military Style Grips

Hi guys,

Several years ago when I was finishing my RV8 I decided to put in the
Infinity stick (2 of which are also in my Super ES).  When I ordered the
grip I spoke with the gentleman who developed it and asked him about the
buttons.  He suggested that the collie hat be pitch and aileron, the
trigger be PTT, flaps on the toggle with momentary down and lock up,
boost pump on another button, and ENGINE START on the top button
opposite the thumb side (hard to reach without an effort).  The reason
he suggested this...if you have an engine out in flight an have to
restart...you never have to let go of the stick.  Think about it...one
hand on the stick...the other on the throttle...you have to let go of
something to get to the starter.
