 Kirk H. has been quite helpful and has been over here a couple times.  He
 started with an internal VOR antenna but was only getting about 40 - 50 mile
 range on it.  Then he changed to the cat wiskers externally on the vertical
 stab he now gets around triple the range!  We haven't changed our VOR
 antenna yet but suspect we will before final paint time comes along.  I
 think the only antenna we are planning on putting outside from the start  is
 the transponder.
