"2. All Carbon Legacy
Lancair has a Reno Racer kit that came available and was wondering if
anyone knew how the all carbon kit would affect its useful load of the
aircraft. I figure there has to be some extra strength there, but
couldn't get any information on a ball park as to how much.

Kevin,
The "Reno Racer Kit", if it is a Super Legacy basic kit, has an addition 4
bid carbon fiber wrap of the aft fuselage from the aft windows to half way
up the vertical stabilizer (see attached photo). This is to handle the
higher speeds at Reno. This can be ordered when the kit is made in the
Philippines.
In order for it to be a true "Super Legacy" Andy Chiavetta at Aerochia can
provide the rest of the modifications needed.
