They are marketing this to cover the entire car to protect the paint from fading. I would think durable or nice cars would get ugly quick. I saw a sample looked very thin and plyable. Probably would conform to the whole front cowling. Seemed thin enough to not effect speed on leading eedge. Car body shop is the installer here. Greg goodrich
