For whatever it is worth, I have long made it a practice, after engine
shutdown and before shutting off the Master switch, to open the hydraulic dump
valve and let the hydraulic pump run for a couple of seconds, then shut off
the Master switch.  This dumps all the pressure throughout the system and I
believe it helps avoid problems with those pesky pressure switches.
